From our very beginnings, Spark LLP has had strong connections to the Windsor community through our co-founder, Windsor native Jacqueline Horvat. Throughout Spark’s first five years, Jacqueline has reminded us of all that is great about Ontario’s Extreme Southwest, “South Detroit”, the City of Roses, Whiskytown, the birthplace of Shania Twain, and home of the best pizza in Canada if not the world (sorry, Italy).
With such skilled and dedicated advocacy as Jacqueline is capable of wielding, the growth of Spark LLP’s Windsor presence was all but guaranteed.
And so we are very excited (if not terribly surprised) to announce the realisation of our plans to expand our presence in Windsor and to deepen our connections to the Windsor community. Carolyn Gray, Francesca Provenzano, and Marianne Thomson have joined the Spark LLP team and will help to further our ties with Canada’s southernmost city. Through our shared community connections, all of us at Spark are looking forward to offering our full line of legal services—now expanded to include family law and wills and estates—to the Windsor community.
Bringing style, smarts, attitude, and much experience in family law, Carolyn Gray is well known in the Windsor family law community. She brings significant experience to bear in combining her exceptional legal skill with compassion and humanity to help solve her client’s problems.
Francesca Provenzano puts her talent and skill in and out of the courtroom to work both in family law matters and in commercial disputes, providing common sense solutions to complicated problems, demonstrating that her reputation as a fierce and passionate advocate is well deserved.
At Mission Control for Spark XSW is Marianne Thomson. Having been a legal secretary for more than a few years, Marianne’s archival knowledge, long experience, and genuine no-bullshit approach to practice management helps ensure that Spark’s high standards continue to be the standard for client service in the legal community.
Spark has always had strong connections to the Windsor community. We believe in supporting the communities in which we live and work. One of the ways we have worked to build these community connections is through our Reclaim Pro Bono Project, a collaboration with the University of Windsor Law School, that provides legal advice and information to people who have had intimate or sensitive images shared without their consent. We will continue to build and deepen our ties to the community as we serve the legal needs of its members.
We would love to talk to you about why we’re not just any other law firm, and how we can help you. For more information about our practice area, head over to https://spark.law/our-practice/ or looks us up at https://spark.law/who-we-are/our-people/ and give us a call.
